Junior Full-Stack Developer – Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for a Junior Full-Stack Developer to assist in developing,
testing, and maintaining web applications. The candidate will work under the guidance of
a Senior Full-Stack Developer to implement UI features, integrate APIs, and gradually gain
practical experience with AI-enabled development practices.

The role provides an opportunity to work on modern web technologies, contribute to
real-world projects, and develop skills in Generative AI, application security, and
full-stack development.

Key Responsibilities

UI Development

• Assist in building responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React, HTML, and CSS.
• Implement UI features according to design specifications.
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Create and maintain reusable React components.

Component & API Integration

• Use React Hooks and state-management techniques to develop interactive UI components.
• Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs.
• Work with the Senior Full-Stack Developer to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
• Test features and ensure they function correctly across supported environments.

AI-Enabled Development

• Gain practical experience with Generative AI development.
• Explore and contribute to open-source AI tools where applicable.
• Develop familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases, and LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Gain exposure to frameworks and tools such as AutoGen, AgentGPT, and similar AI development technologies.

Security

• Follow application security best practices during development.
• Develop an understanding of secure coding principles.
• Become familiar with AI-DLC security recommendations and apply relevant practices when developing AI-enabled features.

Development & Collaboration

• Work remotely on a development VM under the guidance of the Senior Full-Stack Developer.
• Follow assigned tasks and track progress using Jira.
• Commit, review, and maintain code using Git repositories.
• Collaborate effectively with team members across different time zones.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of the application.

Required Skills & Experience

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of React.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of JavaScript and modern frontend development concepts.
• Familiarity with React Hooks and component-based development.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integration.
• Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
• Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Basic knowledge of application security practices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and AI-enabled development practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience contributing to open-source AI tools or projects.
• Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, and LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Exposure to tools or frameworks such as AutoGen, AgentGPT, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of AI-assisted software development workflows.
