Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Title Examiner with 6+ years of experience in US mortgage and title operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in conducting Current Owner, Two-Owner, and Full Title searches across multiple US counties and jurisdictions.

The role requires proficiency in working with major paid title plants and public record databases to identify potential risks, liens, and encumbrances.

Key Responsibilities

• Title Examination: Perform detailed title searches and examinations across various US jurisdictions while adhering to client guidelines and industry standards.
• Prepare title commitments, reports, and summaries of findings, highlighting title defects, requirements, and exceptions.
• Search Types: Execute accurate Current Owner (CO), Two-Owner, Full, and Refinance searches, tracing chain of title as required.
• Data Analysis: Review and analyze recorded documents including deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, and plat maps to determine ownership and identify title-related issues.
• Resolve complex title concerns such as chain breaks, probate matters, and boundary discrepancies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Skills: Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and high attention to detail.

Experience: Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in US title search and examination.

Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience working with title plants and platforms such as DataTrace, TitlePoint, Tapestry, Landex, Landshark, Doxpop, Infocon, TitleSearcher.com, BRB, etc.
